William Hill To Enter The Michigan Sports Betting Market In New Deal
- William Hill has partnered with Turtle Creek Hotel & Casino.
- Both retail and online sportsbooks are coming to casinos in Michigan.
- Legislation was signed in December of 2019 to legalize sports betting in Michigan.
WILLIAMSBURG, Mich.—William Hill sportsbook has partnered with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians throughout Michigan. The partnership will bring sports betting to the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel depending on when the launch of Michigan sports betting comes.
This is certainly a step forward as the legislation was signed in December of 2019 and the rules and regulations are still being reviewed.
Partnership
The partnership between William Hill and Grand traverse will bring sports betting to the Turtle Creek Hotel & Casino this year pending authorization from the legislation signed in December of 2019. The bill, MI HB 4916, will allow for both retail and online sports betting.

Both sides of the partnership are hopeful that Michigan sportsbooks are legalized in time for March Madness and Football season.
Michigan Sports Betting
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, signed a bill in December of 2019 to legalize sports bettin in Michigan. As mentioned before both retail and online sportsbooks were legalized by MI HB 4916. All 27 casinos in the state have the ability to offer sports betting.
